China has been exposed for committing genocide on the Uyghur people in Xinjiang. It’s no surprise that the country responsible for the world’s worst genocide against the unborn is also committing genocide on other groups within the country.

How can a society suddenly engage in mass-scale killing—especially of the defenseless? It’s a question that’s difficult to fathom. But we can look to the history books to find the common threads and factors that make genocide possible:

  1. Dehumanizing language
  2. Scapegoating
  3. Government involvement
  4. Media support
  5. Use of technology to kill on an industrial scale
  6. Keeping the killing out of sight
  7. Punishment of dissent

The United States has a long and sacred tradition of freedom of speech and assembly--even when it comes to expression of unpopular viewpoints. But the Supreme Court recently refused to strike down buffer zone and bubble zone legislation that limits the free speech rights of pro-lifers. In fact, the Court refused to even hear pro-lifers' case against the ordinances.

On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, Shawn Carney, Matt Britton, and Robert Colquhoun look at the Court's latest attack on human life and discuss the emerging threats to free speech around the world.

Meet the new boss, same as the interim boss.

Recently, Planned Parenthood announced Alexis McGill Johnson as its new president and CEO. But there's not much new about McGill Johnson. She's held the title as interim president for the last year and has been a board member of Planned Parenthood, its lobbying arm, and its political action committee.

After a year-long search, an internal hire suggests that the role of the chief executive of America's leading abortion provider wasn't exactly a coveted position.

On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, Shawn Carney, Steve Karlen, and Sue Thayer introduce you to Alexis McGill Johnson and discuss why the future of Planned Parenthood is anything but bright.

Planned Parenthood's largest affiliate just fired its CEO. Hundreds of current and former employees at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York accused its executive of a long list of offenses, including:

  • Bullying employees
  • Financial mismanagement--including turning an $18 million surplus into a multi-million dollar deficit
  • Systematic racism

On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, Shawn Carney, Sue Thayer, and Steve Karlen look at the meltdown at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York.
